Meet Gilly!

From Gilly's mom:

Gilly came into my life at 1 year old, immediately after having a litter of little Gillies. She was brought up to Colorado from New Mexico by the lovely folks at Good Dog Rescue out of Westminster. They were having an event at a PetSmart that I went into on a whim, having no plan of getting a dog that day--but then I went up to meet Gilly and she immediately rolled over for a belly rub and I was smitten by her little white Gilly paws and soft tummy. Being Gilly's best friend has been a journey, and a lot of work, but so rewarding. She is super high energy (not surprising as her DNA test came back as blue heeler/border collie/German shepherd), can be very anxious, and can be somewhat reactive to new people and dogs. She has made absolutely incredible strides with the help of a few wonderful trainers and behaviorists. She is so quick to learn and eager to please, and she is just a delight to work with. Her favorite thing is being out in nature. She comes everywhere with me--hiking, rock climbing (she has her own doggy harness!), snowboarding... She's seen it all! And then she loves to go home and snuggle up on the couch. Gilly is the best decision I ever made, and I wouldn't trade her for the world.
