Meet Maya!

From Maya's mom:

We got maya when she was very little. We were livign in Grand Junction, CO and my now Husband wanted to drive 4 hours to find a pure bread dog, but when that fell through we agreed to go look at the adoption options. When we got her, all of her siblings were black and white and she was the only blonde one. She also had kennel cough and was the runt of the litter but she came right up to us so we knew we had to take her home. We had issues with from day one we stayed together. From skin mites, to getting into Super Glue, it was an adventure. When she was 6 months old we picked up and moved across the country to Mobile, AL so my husband could work for the Minor League Baseball team there. We took her everywhere from the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL to walking down Burbon Street in New Orleans. After a year, we all moved back to CO and eventually up to Helena MT to continue working for baseball. Maya loved playing on the baseball diamond and "helping" pull tarp across the field. After 4 years of living in Montana and hiking, playing in lakes, and visiting National Parking Parks, we moved to Laramie, WY to work for UW. She has been the perfect dog for working in sports as she is super patient, loving and trusting. We are so thankful we chose to adopt her and I believe we were meant to find her and take her on all of our adventures.
