Meet Franny!

From Franny's mom:

Franny was rescued by a Colorado shelter from a puppy mill in New Mexico. At two years old, she already had several liters of puppies and didn't know anything about the outside world. After spending some time in a foster home she started to warm up to the idea of being in a house with people and she was then adopted by a young family. Shortly after, she was returned to the shelter. They sent her to training to help make her more adoptable but she sat in their boarding facility for nearly a year before we met her.

We reached out to the shelter because we were interested in fostering a pittie and they matched us with Franny. She was so excited to get out of boarding and back into a home, she couldn't stop giving us kisses and cuddles to thank us. We worked with the shelter to sharpen her skills, took her to adoption events and breweries but she still received no adoption applications. Pitties are always difficult to get adopted, especially at 80 pounds! After a year and a half of fostering, we couldn't bear the thought of her ever leaving us so we decided to make it official and adopt her. She still loves giving kisses and cuddles and will sit on your lap until your legs go numb. She has made our family complete.
